25 Filipino Schools Make QS Asia University Rankings, UP Leads the Pack in the Philippines

UP Maintains Top Spot in Asia: The University of the Philippines (UP) has once again secured its position as the Philippines' top university in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025. While ranking 86th in Asia, slightly lower than last year's 78th, UP remains the country's leading higher education institution.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) announced that 25 Philippine universities are featured in the 2025 Asia University Rankings.

CHED Chairman J. Prospero de Vera celebrated the rankings as evidence of the strength and potential of Philippine universities.
