| Diesel & Kerosene Prices Dip in Second Week of December |
In the second week of December 2024, the Philippines is experiencing mixed changes in fuel prices. Gasoline prices are expected to rise by ₱0.70 to ₱0.90 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices are set to decrease by ₱0.20 to ₱0.40 per liter
The increase in gasoline prices can be attributed to factors such as global supply-demand shifts and geopolitical tensions, which have been influencing oil markets recently. On the other hand, the price reductions for diesel and kerosene are linked to the global oversupply of oil and a decrease in demand.
These adjustments reflect ongoing changes in the international oil market, and while gasoline prices are rising, the reduction in diesel and kerosene offers some relief for consumers using these fuels.
