A Move Towards Safer Roads

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has decided to make police presence along Marilaque Highway permanent. This decision was made to enhance safety and discipline in the area, which has seen numerous accidents due to reckless driving and stunts by motorcycle riders.

The Highway Patrol Group (HPG), along with other regional and local police units, will be responsible for continuous monitoring and enforcement efforts. The Rizal Provincial Police Office has been designated to lead these efforts, and there's even a proposal to create an inter-agency task force involving the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), local government units (LGUs), and the PNP.

It's a significant move to ensure the safety of all motorists and leisure riders who enjoy the scenic highway. What are your thoughts on this development?
